Day 72 - Is this a lonely journey?
In this heartfelt post, we reflect on our journey from Day 60 to the present, pondering the solitude and connections formed on the road. From exploring the historical depths of Sigüenza and the quaint charm of Nuevo Baztán to the bustling life of Madrid and the spiritual aura of Ávila, our adventures have been diverse and enlightening. We share our thoughts on whether caravaning life is a lonely journey, finding that while there are moments of solitude, the connections formed, even briefly, with people we meet along the way are profound and enriching. We also share our experiences from a refreshing community gathering in Ávila, a visit to the UK for personal reasons, and our time with André and Cris, enjoying life in the campo with goats, chickens, and fresh veggies. Our journey also sees us acquiring a new car, the SSANGYONG KORANDO D20T PREMIUM, and engaging in pet-sitting 12 adorable Maine Coon cats in Valencia.
